The premise of this story is good; clever; and interesting. However, this is nothing more than a short story expanded to be the length of a novel. The author accomplishes this by re-visiting every thought and every decision by the main character numerous times. The character must decide should he go thru the left tunnel or the right tunnel - OK, I get it. Now a dozen pages later the author dissects that decision. The character must decide whether to live or die. That decision is re-visited dozens of times in the second half of the book.
Towards the end of the book, I found myself skipping more and more pages just to get to the end. Not worth the reading time.

Dreams Must Die An ActionPacked Dystopian SciFi TechnoThriller of the Far Future eBook JM Porup Reviews
Great Book. Exept for a few spelling mistakes it has a great storyline. The theme of the world is well thought. Protagonist could be a bit smarter, but there is a good reason why he is not.
Can't say more without spoiling the story.
I did not care for this book. I found the narrative too outrageous even for sci-fi. Not well written.
This was an interesting read, but not quite my type of story. The pace of the the book was good. The characters were well developed. A lot of self awareness in the main character.
The book was fine as a story itself but the presentation of dreamers was just too weird. It pulled me out of the idea that this could be some future world where things took a strange turn. Even in science fiction there should be rules that make sense. They're absent here.
I enjoyed this book very much. The story was unlike anything else I've ever read. I would definitely recommend this book to other sci-fi lovers.
Original plot, enjoyed story. Plot should have progressed a little faster, main character kept rethinking all decisions.
I enjoyed the story and character development and really could see this as movie. The dystopian theme was nothing new, nor was the idea of a plugged-in, government-run collective (heck, we're almost there now), and yet the author had some new twists and interesting ideas around it.
I gave it three stars because of the story and possibilities, and would have given it four if I hadn't almost quit reading it sheer encountering so many blatant typos and grammar errors. The overall writing showed promise, but the lack of editing seriously detected from the enjoyment of the story. Most were typos that any average reader would pick up, so the author must have chosen to forego an editor altogether.
